CALL OUR SALES TEAM!
Worldwide Vintage Autos is pleased to present this Half Ton 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup Truck. “The forward looking collector will note that classic pickup trucks are just getting started - and there are plenty of underpublicized specimens out there” [Autoweek Magazine, February 2016]. We scour the country for vintage cars and trucks like this and we rarely come across one like this!
The 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts… a drop-center ladder frame (allowing the cab to sit lower), an independent front suspension (giving an almost car-like ride in a truck) and a new designation system for trucks made by GM. Gone was the 3100, 3200, and 3600 designations for short 1/2, long 1/2 and 3/4-ton models. Instead, a new scheme would assign a 10, 20, or 30 for 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton models. Since 1957, trucks were available from the factory as 4-wheel drive, and the new class scheme would make this known. A C (Conventional) in front of the series number would indicate 2-wheel rear drive while a K would denote 4-wheel drive. Actual badging on trucks still carried the series name system from the previous generation. The cab roof used double walled steel construction unlike the other automakers who used a single steel roof. The 10, 20, 30, and 40 series (C or K) were badged as "Apache", etc. 50, and 60 series trucks were badged as "Viking", and the largest 70, 80, and 90 series models were marked "Spartan" etc. In 1960, C/K trucks were available in smooth "Fleetside" or fendered "Stepside" versions. Half-ton models were the C10 and K10 long-bed and short-bed trucks, and The 3/4-ton C20 and K20, as well as the one-ton C30, were also available. A coil-spring front suspension came in 1963; along with a new base engine, a 140 hp (104 kW) 230 in3 (3.8 L) I6, and an optional 165 hp/ 292 in3 (4.8 L) I6. The cab was changed for 1964, with elimination of the "wraparound" windshield and a new front grille design, along with various interior changes. Air conditioning and a 220 hp/ 327 in3 (5.3 L) V8 came in 1965. A new base engine finished the model in 1966 with a 155 hp/250 in3 (4.1 L) I6. (source: wikipedia)

Own this vintage 1963 Chevy C10 at a fraction of the build cost. The cost of parts and restoration of these vehicles are increasing daily. We recommend having our shipping coordinator facilitate the transport of your new vehicle. We can handle all shipping arrangements in-house, so you know where your vehicle is from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’. We highly suggest using only enclosed shipping to protect your investment. We use Central Dispatch and they ensure all carriers are licensed, insured and bonded.
We have sold and shipped vehicles all over the world, with happy customers in Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South America, and the Middle East, just to name a few. We can assist with the transport to your home port anywhere in the world, as well as help with the required export/import paperwork. We recommend the following import/export contacts:

Inspections are highly recommended. These inspections should be done before bidding or placing a deposit.
During the inspection process we prefer to work with buyers directly, in lieu of third party inspectors; third party inspectors are typically trained in late model vehicles and, many times, their inspection templates do not apply to classic or modified vehicles.
If a third party inspection service is used, please know that we will require a copy of the inspection report before they leave our facility. Please let them know this before ordering your inspection.
WWVA salesmen are available six days per week to inspect any vehicle. We have a dedicated, 4-post lift available to you during your inspection. If you would like to meet an inspector at the dealership we will accommodate both of you.
We would love to meet you in person and encourage you to come see the vehicles before you buy! If you cannot meet a salesman during business hours please call the main office, and one of the owners will meet you Monday through Saturday.
Due to our inventory size, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long distances. We also cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, option, function, etc., will work as it should. We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every detail, and note any imperfections in the advertisement. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS, GAUGES, OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. GIVEN THE NATURE OF THE VINTAGE VEHICLES WE SELL, THESE COMPONENTS CAN BE WORKING AT ONE MOMENT AND NOT WORKING AT ANOTHER MOMENT. IT IS COMMON THAT THESE COMPONENTS WILL NEED UPKEEP OR ATTENTION.
We provide approximately 75 HD images, and an HD video, in every one of our listings. Very few companies offer this much detail. We spend significant time inspecting and disclosing detailed items on all of our vehicles; however, at the end of the day, we are not you... we highly suggest that you come and inspect the vehicle.
The information contained in this ad is solely for convenience. The description is an opinion only and should not be considered a complete description of any or all faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a representation or warranty of any sort. Vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty.
We do not recommend driving a classic car home. Many classic cars are not driven often and tend to sit for long periods of time making them unsuitable for cross-country road trips. We strongly recommend shipping the vehicle.
Unless otherwise noted, we sell our vehicles mileage-exempt, meaning we do not know the actual, original miles. The information listed in the ad is based on the current odometer reading or from rebuild information provided by the builder, and cannot be used as fact.
Most of these vehicles do not have Carfax or Autocheck history reports; unless the vehicle is 1981 or newer, a Carfax or Autocheck history will not exist.
This vehicle is being sold by Worldwide Vintage Autos. All of our prices include a 60 temporary license plate, a clear Colorado title and VIN verification to ensure no surprises during the registration of your vehicle. We do not charge any additional dealer and handling fees!
